The Egyptian Museum in Tahrir
Opened in 1902, the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square stands as one of the world’s most significant cultural landmarks — home to more than 120,000 ancient artifacts that chronicle the soul of an eternal civilization.
Now entering a new era, the museum is being reimagined under the management of Venture Lifestyle, in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Through a visionary program of restoration, curation, and experiential innovation, this partnership seeks to bridge Egypt’s timeless heritage with contemporary culture, transforming the museum into a living dialogue between past and present.
Today, the museum functions not only as a historic institution, but as a dynamic cultural hub — hosting over 50 annual events across five venues, two gardens, two terraces, and its central fountain courtyard. Within these storied walls, history no longer stands still — it comes alive through art, music, gastronomy, and collective experience.
